Misdirection
by Adam Caskey
December 7th, 1998

Emotions fly as windsocks,
shadowing us a shade of blue.
Leaving us misdirected,
with little to hold true.

Knowing where to go from here,
is an answer that can’t be found.
Following the temperamental wind,
makes it hard to gain real ground.

Seeking for a clear tomorrow,
not what the changing winds imply.
Drop the compass, and forget the bearing,
life, is passing by.
