| Night-Walker by Adam Caskey March 20, 1999 |
|
His soul is a
lonely soul walking.
Treading the dark shadows of the night.
Alone he steps with little light to guide him.
His world experienced between the twilight.
In and out of the shadows he sneaks.
On the dark silent breeze he rides.
Darkness brings him solace and safety.
In the blue corners of the night he hides
His pain is a pain unknown.
His pain cajoled by the night.
Unseen, and unheard by the day-dwellers.
Few know the breadth of his plight.
At daybreak he retreats to a slumberous state.
To an unconscious realm he does depart.
Another day concludes for the night-walker.
Sleepily hell wait for another day to start.
